Quote for the day: "He who does a good deed should never remember it.
He who receives a good deed should never forget it." - ANON
Flaunting a soft glowing skin was never easier than when exfoliating with dead sea facial scrub, with its naturally enriched mineral salts, herb extracts and essential oils, mingling to help renew the skin by cleansing, strengthening and stimulating. This deep clean helps soften and erase lines - this scrub is the ultimate encounter for seriously spoilt individuals. To steal a phrase from you know who: 'You really are worth it!!!'
Our weather really takes its toll on our hair. I know mine gets terribly dry and brittle, again, I must confess, I use dead sea products, especially a conditioner. The treatment provides you with the sleek results you crave for, shiny healthy looking locks. Wave 'bye' 'bye' to frizzy, brittle and over processed hair! I cannot reiterate too much about the natural mineral salts, essential oils and herb extract that do so much to give the hair back its vitality and nourishment. Oh, that's me, in the picture above, as you may be able to make out I have longish hair. I must say that the residents where I worked were always very complimentary about my hair, and how good it looked.

Not only does the cold and windy conditions play havoc with our hair, hands and face, don't you find that in the winter you tend to continually lick your lips? Which makes them even drier! The more you lick, the drier they get! It's that never ending cycle.
Everytime I go to lick my lips I can hear my schoolfriend saying to me, "You know Mrs M----(our teacher) is always licking her lips, well, I told my mum and she said that that's because she's an alcoholic." They probably don't lick their lips anymore than anyone else. If she was, you couldn't blame her having a class of 40 unruly teenage girls to look after! I digress!
So, nowadays, I always carry some lipbalm with me where ever I go. Its great, and now I don't need to go around with my tongue forever out of my mouth, like some large St, Bernard dog.
The soft, moisturising feel of all the natural ingredients provides a gentle soothing hydratherapy for your lips.
It needs to be applied every time before you go out - and several times whilst you are out. And every time after you have had something to eat or drink.
Its because your lips don't hold anything very well, that they need to be replenished.
Also, believe it or not, but even in the winter the sun can damage your lips by drying and scaling them. Don't forget the suntan lotion!

My friend and her daughter to visit me some time ago, with some exciting news to impart. Her daughter, Glenda, was three months pregnant. Although she was well, Glenda said that she felt achy and sometimes had back ache. Like most pregnant women, she was becoming increasingly conscious of the changes in her body.
There are quite a few treatments which would be greatly beneficial, one such treatment is aromatherapy massage.
Glenda felt she would benefit from having aromatherapy massage treatment. I said "Make sure you consult your doctor that it is right for you to do so." Of course this advice should be taken by any one who is pregnant.
Great care must be taken in the first three months of pregnancy, when the risk of miscarriage and other foetal problems are at their highest.
When you get the o.k. from your GP then aromatherapy can bring physical and emotional relief to some of the symptoms arising from increased hormone levels such as stress and tension, insomnia fluid retention. Fatigue and aches and pains - especially neck, shoulders and lower back.
Stay with the tried and tested essential oils, which are beneficial to the womb:
Lavender, jasmine which is a well known uterine strengthener and can be used throughout pregnancy and after to aid recovery. Gentle massage over tummy and lower back will help throughout labour. Rose and Camomile should be used not be used during the first three months.
Always dilute the essential oils with a good carrier oil, measure out 10mls of base oil and add 4 drops of essential oil. As Glenda is allergic to nuts, I recommended she should use a baby oil. There are numerous essential oils which should not be used in pregnancy and some of the carrier oils, contain nuts or wheat which may cause problems to someone who is allergic to them.

For thousands of years perfumes had been widely used in the middle and far east.
Myrrh and Frankincense, the gifts the wise men gave to the baby Jesus, were more expensive than gold.
Perfumes were worn by both male and females also dead body were anointed with scented oils.
Today we have a large selection of fabulous perfumes to choose to apply to our own bodies. Scented candles, room diffusers, incense sticks and various essential oils placed in oil burners to make our homes smell fragrant and arouse the senses.
