Quote for the day: "When liberty is gone, Life grows insipid and has lost its relish." -ADDISON from Cato - Act 2
As I gaze deep into the picture above, I almost antcipate the arrival of a galleon in full sail rounding the headland then hoisting the 'Jolly Roger' as the Cap'n does so, with his canon primed and ready to blast anyone out of
the water! Seeing how peaceful it is he decides this is where he'll drop anchor and give his crew a much needed vacation. They have been on the run for quite a few weeks and at last have managed to outrun their would-be
captors. "Right-ho!" the Cap'n cries, "Splice the main brace me 'eartys' " The men send up a rousing cheer.
Yes, everyone deserves a holiday, even overworked pirates! and where better to spend it? On a sun-soaked beach, with blue skies overhead, with the mere smattering of fluffy white clouds, and golden sand. Sure sounds like heaven to me.
I do hope the Captain will remember to apply the suntan lotion to his crew's back?
